Where to look: Power-button / flash flex (rear mic) · Connector / small parts beside it
Bench checks
- Swap-test a known-good power-button flex.
- Look for pry damage on the small components near the connector (common after back-glass or housing work).
- Diode-mode the power-button connector; OL on a data pin = open line.
