Local-first does not mean invisible

Diagnostic case processing occurs in the browser, but the hosting provider may still generate ordinary web access and security logs.

01

Privacy overview

How this static application handles diagnostic case information.

AIFlasher is designed as a static, local-first application. The website does not require an account and the shipped application does not include advertising or third-party analytics scripts.

Diagnostic data entered into the intake page is processed in the current browser session for the purpose of displaying a result.

02

Browser session storage

Case information is stored temporarily within the current tab.

The intake workflow writes a case object to sessionStorage. Browser session storage is normally scoped to the current origin and tab and is removed when the page session ends.

  • Do not enter unnecessary personal information.
  • Close the tab after completing the case.
  • Use a trusted computer and browser profile.
  • Session storage is not encrypted storage.
03

Diagnostic log processing

Uploaded logs are processed locally and redacted on a best-effort basis.

Supported log files may be truncated and screened for common identifier patterns before local display. Automated redaction cannot guarantee complete anonymization.

Review the preview before using, sharing, or exporting any log. Device names, paths, serials, phone numbers, network identifiers, or account details may remain if their format is not recognised.

04

Hosting and network records

Static hosting infrastructure can still create standard request logs.

The hosting provider may process IP addresses, timestamps, requested paths, user-agent information, and security logs to deliver and protect the website. Those records are governed by the provider’s infrastructure and policies.

AIFlasher’s statement that processing is local refers to diagnostic form and rule evaluation logic, not the absence of ordinary web-server access records.

05

No automatic case transmission

The shipped static application does not submit cases to an AIFlasher application server.

Case information remains in the browser unless the user separately copies, exports, sends, or uploads it through another service. Future connected features must disclose their data flows before activation.

06

Retention and deletion

How to remove local case information.

Use “New case” or close the current tab to end the browser session. Browser developer tools can also be used to inspect or clear session storage.

Hosting access logs, if any, are controlled by the hosting provider and may follow a separate retention schedule.
