Bench checks
- Swap-test with a known-good OEM/premium flex; the flex must be plugged in while testing (an unplugged sensor flex also causes the 3-minute restart).
- The flex must stay plugged in while testing; unplugging it still causes the restart.
- Check for tears, liquid damage and defects; use OEM or premium parts (aftermarket parts have a high defect rate).
- Diode-mode the FPC connector pins on the board.
